Trailer zur Blacklist 2 DVD aus Italien. Auf der Blacklist Video Homepage gibt’s noch ein bisschen mehr zu sehen.

LAUFF’s (Los Angeles United Film Festival) official 2008 selection includes Piece of Mind, a sick new documentary exploring the world of graffiti, as considered a criminal activity. Focusing on Southern California’s “war on graffiti,” Piece of Mind is a timely examination of what society considers art, and why graffiti has moved beyond old standards of traditional artistic expression.
Directed by Evan Romoff and Keegan Gibbs, Piece of Mind debuts at LAUFF this Sunday, April 20th.

Endless Illusion DVD, der Nachfolger der Export Import DVD soll im Juli rauskommen. Zu sehen geben soll es Action aus dem Rhein/Ruhr Gebiet, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Paris, London, Mailand, Wien und Amsterdam.

Ok, nutzt ja nichts, noch ein Video heute. Dieses mal der Trailer zu Spraymasters. Vier ex-Graffiti Writer (Zephyr, Lee, Lady Pink, Futura 2000) berichten ueber Ihre Graffiti Anfaenge in New York.

Hier der Text von der Webseite: In SprayMasters, four ex-graffiti writers reflect on their early years as renegades who sneaked into rail yards and decorated New York subway cars with stolen paint while eluding arrest by the authorities. Now in their forties and embraced by the establishment, Lee Quinones, Lady Pink, and Futura 2000 are prominent artists with an international following, while Zephyr is a widely published journalist who writes about popular culture. They talk about the extreme risks they took as teenagers, the joys of seeing their work on subway cars, the diverse styles of graffiti, its global reach, and its place in modern life, where it has been co-opted by advertising and fashion. SprayMasters is a follow-up to Kirchheimer’s underground classic Stations of the Elevated (1980), the first film to feature New York’s infamous subway graffiti.

Although the exuberant painted trains are gone, they live again in SprayMasters, in rare footage never seen before, set to an electrifying musical soundtrack that evokes the heyday of graffiti.
